Imama Amapakabo led team lost their first game to the group winner, Cote d’Ivoire by a loan goal, won their second game against Zambia by 3 goals to one and drew the last game against South Africa who qualified for the semi-final behind Cote d’Ivoire.
This is the third time a team coached by Imama will refused to qualify in the last one month. He recently failed in both WAFU Cup and CHAN qualifiers.
